Ever observed what happens when a pebble is thrown into a quiet lake? The rippling effect it brought about never fails to amaze us. It is breathtaking to see the pebble causing a stir, creating a series of waves that spreads far and wide, affecting almost to the ends of the lake. Likewise we chose the name Ripples, because we aspire to create a sensational rippling effect, causing a stir in the street!
The creation of Ripples begins with the idea of radically transforming the simple things you wear in the street!
We began with flip flops. Flip flops is excellent footwear because it relaxes our feet and helps us unwind, and so we wanted to promote the wearing of flip flop. Our goal is to make Ripples Flip Flops a popular streetwear among young and trendy ladies! Our designers deliberately choose attractive colours to bring life and cheer to our flip flops and creatively use designs that are mostly inspired by the beauty of nature. We also diligently study the colours and designs that are fashionable and carefully apply them so that one can always walk in style with Ripples!
In Singapore, the sale of Ripples flip flops started in February 2005. From four flip flops designs and two local distribution points, we have now twenty over flip flops designs on the shelf and thirty over distribution points, including distribution to departmental stores, tourist hotspots, theme parks, fashion retailers and nail spas.
Today, the popularity of Ripples is reflected not just in the increasing demand of the products. Ripples flip flops is also a popular feature in the local magazines and newspaper. Ripples has also gained increasing popularity overseas, with Ripples' products available in Australia, New Zealand, Mauritius and Philippines.
